There are 9 million children in EU alone growing up with parents who consume alcohol in an excessive amount and doing so they are creating an insecure environment for the children and violate their rights.
This project is running simultaneously in 10 different European countries and in each of these countries our objectives are same.

We want to:
- raise awareness about violation of Human Rights that is happening every day behind closed doors in the places called homes
- help the children whose rights are violated to understand the problem and the way to solve it
- help youth workers and teachers to realize the problem and take actions to solve it
- involve youth in Human Rights education and action for mutual solidarity
- create more alcohol free environments where children of alcohol addicted parents can feel safe and experience real childhood
- spread the idea of solidarity with the children and young people growing up with parents who abuse alcohol and encourage public for a conrete action as an act of solidarity- to spend three days of a culturally significant holiday (i.e Christmas) alcohol free

To reach these goals we have different activities happening in all of those countries now.
We have composed a booklet of certain Human Rights that are being violated by alcohol use. It is in English and free for download. The printed version is also possible to order from Active office.
